Classes & Workshops

Welcome to the Anahat Yoga Classes and Services information page. We a well known and experienced provider within the Greater Dallas Yoga community . Our goal is to provide you the very best information and training in the art of Yoga.

Here is a complete list of the classes and services we offer: 

Prenatal Yoga at the Medical Center of Plano, Monday nights from 6PM -7:30PM, class cost is $10 per class, or $50 for 6 classes(prepaid discount)

This class is geared toward helping you feel better in your pregnant body, to assist you in relaxation and gentle, appropriate stretching and exercise. We also work with specific pain management tools for your "tool box" to support you in labor. It is wonderful opportunity to also meet other pregnant moms and share in this unique and privileged community of women. Please bring your own mat, other props provided.

 

"Mommy and Baby" Postnatal Yoga at the Medical Center of Plano, Tuesday mornings from 9:45AM - 11AM. Class cost is $10 per class, or $50 for 6 classes(prepaid discount)

This class focuses on strengthening your core muscles and incorporating gentle stretching and relaxation for Mommy as well. Many of the poses are interactive with baby and we will also include some other fun activities to entertain baby too. It is a wonderful time to get some exercise, frolic with baby, and share with other new moms!
 

If you are a little late or have to leave early, that is fine too. We know new moms need alot of leeway. This is a "go with the flow" class for sure! Please bring your mat and also a baby blanket for baby. Feel free to bring anything else you may need for baby as well.

Please note: For this class, babies need to be at least five to six weeks old with some neck control.

Mixed Level Adults meet at the TI Health Club on the Texas Instruments Campus, Wednesday nights from 6:30 PM - 7:45 PM    Cost is $8 per class.

This is a mixed level class OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, you do not have to be a TI  health club member. The class focus is to help you unwind from your busy day while providing gentle strength-building yoga postures to increase flexibility as well as mind-body awareness enhancing your overall well-being.
